When the status does not identify the next agency, the former custodian should be asked for the destination or transfer entry that can lawfully be released.

UDC's separate public search uses the exact combined label “Release Date/Type.” That field should not be assumed to match every VINE label or event. For a state prisoner, compare the two systems and the Board order. For a county detainee, the receiving jail's exit log is the direct physical-release record.

Register Daggett Release Notifications

Daggett VINE PIN Confirmations
Utah's PIN process is more than a sign-up detail. After a reportable event, automated telephone calls repeat every hour for up to 48 hours until the correct PIN confirms receipt. Confirm Daggett VINELink Release Results
Automated status is useful, but direct confirmation controls. Data can arrive late, and the Board's public site warns that technical problems may make notifications inaccurate or missing. If UDC, the Board, and VINE conflict, call the Board at 801-261-6464 and confirm physical release with UDC. If a county jail supplied the event, call that jail and ask whether the record shows community release or transfer.
